VERVE is an annual music, arts, and culture festival where local artists, musicians, and festival-goers create community and memories through live performances, artist booths, and collaboration.

This project aims to create a responsive, interactive web user experience in the VERVE | Music + Arts Festival. For the website, the goal was to develop a website that would engage and inform users about Verve. We wanted the interactions, such as the animations, hover states, and videos, to be vibrant and energetic. We also experimented with 3D elements/motion through the loading screen.

Branding Sketches





The branding of VERVE uses bright, bold colors, graffiti-style type, authentic imagery, and variety of shapes to represent creativity and the combination of music and arts. Additionally, the design choices settled on were to encourage young adults to engage with VERVE. When exploring and developing the logo concepts for Verve, I wanted to answer the question: "How do I combine the musical and artistic elements of the festival?"
Paint palettes, sound waves, speakers, and graffiti were some motifs and styles I played around with.
